Meet Nathan Elliott at District Docklands
We are pleased to introduce Nathan Elliott from Bike Force Docklands!
Nathan is a professional cyclist and races for the Bennelong Swisswellness Cycling Team, Australia’s #1 Continental Cycling Team 8 years running. Nathan grew up in Diamond Creek just outside Melbourne. He was always into sports, playing footy and enjoyed water skiing throughout most of his childhood and teenage years. Nathan took up cycling at the end of high school during this he also completed a Bachelor of Bio-medicine at the University of Melbourne.
Nathan had many achievements throughout his riding career so far, however his most notable on bike achievement was winning the Melbourne to Warrnambool back to back in 2016 and 2017. It is Australia's most famous one day bike race and he was the only person to achieve this in its 100+ year history! This year (2018) Nathan also won Grafton to Inverell which is widely regarded as Australia's toughest one day race.
When Nathan is not racing around the world or training, you can find him at Bike Force Docklands. He can assist you with your next bike, and also some bike mechanic work. Nathan loves working at Bike Force, particularly seeing the joy on a customer's face and how happy it makes them when he and the team are able to help them build their dream bike!
